Build Your Setup is an independent finder for the things on and around a desk: microphones, headphones, webcams, lights, keyboards, mice, chairs and desks. It asks what you need, shows only the products that meet every answer, and puts the best known and best liked in the middle.
How products are chosen
Every product starts as an Amazon listing with real reviews. Each one is sorted by what it is (a USB or XLR microphone, a chair rated for 350 lb, a 75% keyboard) from its listing and the maker's own description. A product shows for your answers only if it meets all of them. Among those, the order comes from its rating, how many people reviewed it, and how many bought it last month. Nothing is paid to be placed higher.
When an answer would leave nothing, its tile is greyed out and says which earlier answer is in the way, so you can loosen the right one.
Prices
Prices change daily, so Build Your Setup shows a price range rather than a price, and the range is only used to match your budget. The product page on Amazon always has today's price and stock.
